TAHAN à PARIS - Small blue colored paste JEWEL BOX blue, quadrangular in shape, the lid decorated with an oval micro-mosaic on onyx in a brass frame depicting two hovering doves, the frame in mother-of-pearl, the gilded and openwork brass mount enhanced with a pearl motif, the interior lined with beige silk. Signed on the clasp "TAHAN ÉBÉNISTE DE S.M. L'EMPEREUR". late 19th c. Length: 9.6 cm; Width: 7.2 cm; Height. 4 cm. Cracks and small chips.
