Valet clock in blackened wood and chased ormolu featuring a servant holding a water pot and a tray, the terrace decorated with flowers and an antique vase framed with foliage scrolls and medallion portraits (later restored). White enameled circular dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Movement signed "Gilles Martinot à Paris". With key. Late 18th century. (bronze elements added). 23.5 x 16.5 x 8.5 cm. Some bronze parts.
