About the artist:
Born in 1966, Thierry Trivès has established himself on the contemporary art scene as a Pop sculptor. His creations, quickly noticed by renowned galleries, can now be seen all over the world. Among his iconic works, "Résilience" rests in the depths of the Musée Subaquatique in Marseille, while two other sculptures adorn the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes. Trivès has brought together three of his major pieces - Le Cri du Cœur, La Palme and Résilience - in a coherent trilogy, where each element enriches the other to embody the central vision of his artistic work.
About the sculpture:
In a deep ultramarine blue, this captivating work features an upright, dignified male figure, his mouth frozen in a silent scream. The torso, marked by a heart-shaped opening, embodies desire, sincerity and self-exposure. The perfectly polished curves of the material react with the ambient light, generating subtle reflections that reinforce the emotional dimension of the sculpture. It combines inner power and fragility with intensity, illustrating a poignant message about the human experience. The void at its center and the character's theatrical posture amplify the piece's visual impact, giving it a presence that is both contemporary and timeless.
