BEN (1935-2024) - Lot 6
BEN (1935-2024) We'll have to find something else. Serigraph on black fon, signed. Limited edition of 165 copies, this one justified e.a 5/15. 47 x 62 cm Ben, whose real name is Benjamin Vautier, is a major French artist of the Fluxus movement, known for his striking handwritten inscriptions - the famous "écritures de Ben". Through his humor, provocation and reflections on signature and identity, he constantly questions the place of the artist and the very definition of art. His work, both conceptual and popular, turns everyday life into a permanent field of artistic experimentation.
