Signed by Joan Miro in pencil lower right and justified 3E/100 lower left (49.8 x 36 cm.). This work is a unique variation from an edition of 100, printed by Mourlot and published by Poligrafa in Spain, and enhanced by Miro. Reference Mourlot 511. Cramer 123. (foxing, fold marks, adhesive). Joan Miró, a major figure in Spanish modern art, passionately explored the world of printmaking, which he saw as a field of experimentation as free as painting. His hand-enhanced prints bear witness to this search for spontaneity and energy: the artist blends etching and pictorial gestures, adding bright colors, signs and personal touches after printing. This process enabled him to transform each print into a unique work, embodying the poetry, fantasy and vitality characteristic of his world.
