YVARAL (Jean-Pierre VASARELY dit) (1934-2002) - Lot 37
YVARAL (Jean-Pierre VASARELY dit) (1934-2002) Hollow cubic structure, lilac, 1976. Silkscreen on Arches vellum. Ateliers SILIUM - éditions ROMBALDI. Numbered 148/175 and signed lower right in pencil. 75 x 75 cm An artist's certificate is included. Yvaral, real name Jean-Pierre Vasarely, son of Victor Vasarely, is a French artist and pioneer of optical and kinetic art. Heir to his father's geometric rigor, he developed a personal approach centered on visual perception and digital image distortion. Through his structured compositions and pixelated portraits, Yvaral explores the boundary between art, science and technology, questioning how the eye and mind reconstruct reality.
