Sight: 32 x 27 cm (frame: 34.5 x 29.5 cm) Léopold Survage, a naturalized French painter of Finnish origin, is a singular figure in the avant-gardes of the early XXᵉ century. Close to Cubist and Symbolist circles, he sought to translate movement, music and rhythm into painting, notably through his visionary "Rythmes colorés" project. His work, marked by vibrant color and the poetic construction of space, lies at the crossroads of abstraction and lyricism, affirming a profound search for harmony between form and emotion.
