(pinholes and minor damage, frame damaged) 60.5 x 50 cm (frame: 75 x 63 cm) Fernand Lambert was a French painter active in the early decades of the XXᵉ century, having exhibited notably at the Salon d'Automne in Paris. He distinguished himself with landscapes and scenes of everyday life, painted with a contemporary sensitivity to Impressionism and light. His work is appreciated today, illustrating the transition between tradition and modernity in French pictorial art.
