LULU LARSEN, Philippe RENAULT dit (1954-2016) by BAZOOKA collective Iranian Revolution. Oil on canvas. (small stains) 191 x 129 cm Lulu Larsen was a French artist, draughtsman, painter, graphic designer and video artist, born in Le Mans and active in Paris. In 1974, he was one of the founders of the "Bazooka" collective, which left its mark on graphic and punk circles with its provocative projects and "graphic dictatorship". His work, made up of fine-line drawings, collages, frames and image hijackings, blends a political, graphic and poetic approach, asserting an incisive and singular style on the contemporary scene.
