BENHARROUCHE Yoel (born 1961) - Lot 110
BENHARROUCHE Yoel (born 1961) Phases médianes. Mixed media including oil and fabric collage on canvas. Signed lower right. 54 x 65 cm (frame: 76 x 87 cm) Yoël Benharrouche (b. 1961, Beersheva, Israel) is a contemporary painter and sculptor whose work combines spirituality, poetry and color. After training and teaching at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nice, he moved to the Judean desert in 1993, where he found a strong source of inspiration. His style is characterized by original mixed techniques - including collage, crumpled rags and sandblasting - and a search for illumination where the material rises to the spiritual. In his vibrantly lit paintings, he explores love, faith and humanity, inviting inner contemplation.
