Note: The Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III, produced from 1963 to 1967, represents the ultimate evolution of the famous "Big Healey". More powerful and more accomplished than the Mk I and Mk II, it adopted a 2.9-liter 6-cylinder engine increased to almost 150 hp. The Mk III version boasts a more refined interior, with a wooden dashboard and improved soundproofing. It also introduced significant mechanical improvements, including SU HD8 carburetors and an optimized braking system. The model became as much a grand tourer as a sporty roadster. Its styling remains true to the muscular lines for which Austin-Healey is renowned. Highly appreciated by enthusiasts, the Mk III offers an ideal compromise between performance and comfort. It was also the last Austin-Healey to be produced before the brand's demise in 1967. Today, its rarity and historical importance make it a sought-after model on the collector's market. It remains one of the most emblematic British icons of its era.
