The Morgan Plus Four, launched in 1950, is one of the English brand's most emblematic models. It preserves Morgan's artisanal philosophy, with its ash and steel structure and traditional bodywork. From the mid-1950s onwards, the model adopted a Triumph TR2 and then TR3 engine, providing significantly improved performance. The Plus Four of this period, including the 1957 model, symbolizes the unique alliance between tradition and sportiness. Its lightweight chassis and purposeful mechanics offer a very direct ride, true to the spirit of pre-war roadsters. Although built at low production rates, the car enjoys a reputation for robustness and mechanical simplicity. Its timeless styling has survived the decades virtually unchanged. Today, the Plus Four is one of the models most appreciated by collectors for its authenticity. It embodies English production at its purest. Still highly sought-after, it remains an essential classic of Morgan's heritage.
