BACCARAT - Harcourt Model Cut white crystal bottle bucket. Height: 22.7 cm Included: BACCARAT - Set of four white crystal liqueur glasses. Hallmarks on the reverse. Height: 9.2 cm (one glass has a chip) (signs of wear) Note: Created in 1841, the Harcourt model is the oldest collection still produced by Baccarat. Recognizable by its hexagonal base, triple-button stem, and six faceted sides, it became a symbol of French luxury throughout the 19th century. Originally known as the “triple-button gondola shape,” it was renamed Harcourt in the 1920s, in reference to one of the oldest families of the French nobility. Chosen by Napoleon III, then used at the Élysée Palace and during numerous official receptions, the Harcourt service remains today one of the absolute icons of French crystal.
