Note: The Ondine model takes its name from the ondines, water nymphs from Germanic and Scandinavian mythology, a theme particularly cherished by René Lalique from the Art Nouveau period onward. Figures of naiads, mermaids, and aquatic creatures play a central role in his decorative repertoire, inspired by nature and symbolism. With its female figures emerging from the translucent material, the Ondine model carries on this legacy within the aesthetic of contemporary crystal. Creations inspired by the aquatic world are among the most iconic in the Lalique universe.
